What should I eat?

No foods are off limits.

Generally you want to stick to your meal plans.

Always select foods high in protein, not too high in calories and also high in fibre.

You should try to limit ultra-processed foods as these tend to be high in calories but low in fibre.

You will need to eat within your CALORIE TARGET and also focus on getting the adequate amount of PROTEIN in.

Example: a KIT-KAT chocolate is 105 kcals.

If I have over 100 calories spare and I have hit my protein and fibre targets then I can fit the kit-kat in.

Can I eat less calories?

Technically the fewer calories you eat the bigger the deficit you make and the more body fat you will lose.

However, you do not want to drop calories too low as this will impact your energy and hunger levels - this will not be sustainable.

If you drop weight too fast you will be at higher risk of muscle loss.

Always make sure you hit your protein targets.

What should I do if I am feeling unwell?

You should take rest if you aren’t feeling well. It would be better to let your body recover. Training can further stress your body out and delay your recovery. If you’re not feeling too bad then you can continue with your steps. Also if you are able to stick to the diet plan then do so.

Can I change my workout days?

Yes, as long as all workouts are completed by the end of the week.

However, be mindful of letting the muscles recover before training the same muscle group again.

Social occasions like birthdays, anniversary dinners, BBQs, weddings etc will likely occur whilst you are on plan.

I have an injury, how should I continue?

If you have an injury then you will want to stop any exercises that aggravate the injury. You should get it checked out by a physio.

If it’s not that bad then make a list of the exercises that cause discomfort and also a list of exercises you are able to do.

You can work around the injury until you feel better.
